| Checked dates / flights booked / arrangements made? Call Cats Whiskers on 01981 570730 to reserve a chalet. |

| When booking your cat in give the dates you want the cat to go in and be collected. Allow plenty of travelling time to collect your cat within opening hours. Many people book their cat in until the day after they arrive back to allow for delays in planes/ferries etc. | |
| Check that vaccination is up to date and put certificate in a safe place | |
On the Day |

| Consider keeping your cat inside the night before and take it to the cattery in the morning to avoid a “Where’s Puss?” panic. | |
| If your cat is likely to be ill do not feed for several hours before transporting and advise the cattery of this when you arrive. Ensure they still have water to drink. | |
| Take your cat in a strong suitable carrier, with newspaper rather than bedding in the carrier just in case of accidents. If your cat gets upset try covering the carrier with a blanket or towel, remembering to allow for ventilation. | |
| Remember to take the vaccination certificate with you to the cattery. | |
| Bring a reminder of home such as bedding. Please ensure that this is reasonably clean (a little scent of home is OK) and easily washable. |

| If your cat is on medication write down the dose, frequency and name of the medication. Remember to take adequate medication with you for the duration of the stay. | |
| Let us know how your cat behaves in general at home, with you, other people and other cats or if been to a Cattery before, how it got on. This helps us to understand the needs of each particular cat and treat them accordingly. | |
| Tell us about your Cats good or bad habits to make it easier to care for them. For example, it helps to know of messy toilet habits, particular loves/hates and reactions to grooming. | |
